finding The solution
Collaboration from start to finish
Our team worked closely with the architect from the early design stages to ensure flawless integration. Planning the recessed installation early meant we could conceal the screen housing between the oversized sliding doors and exposed steel, maintaining the clean aesthetic of the extension.
The cavity required for the screen was just 178mm wide by 267mm deep, allowing for a discreet yet powerful shading solution.

The selected E-Screen 7510 mesh provides a 90% UV block, helping to keep the space cool while still allowing fresh air to flow through. When the sun is away in the evenings, the screen still acts as a protective barrier, keeping insects at bay. This is ideal for summer dining and entertaining with the doors open for optimum outdoor living.
With remote operation and smart home integration, the integrated screen can be deployed at the touch of a button, voice command, and even remotely via the Somfy TaHoma app (providing an extra layer of security). Additional options, such as sun and wind sensors, offer automated adjustments for optimal comfort.
