A pergola was installed to the patio in front of the kitchen. This allowed the homeowners to simply walk out through the sliding doors and relax under their pergola, savouring views of their wonderful garden.
Each half of the pergola’s automated roof slats can be adjusted separately, giving the homeowner ultimate control over how much sunlight they let in.

Three pleated double door screens were installed internally across the sliding doors at the back of the property, blocking insects without impacting the views. The screens were all powder coated in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) to match the pergola and existing door frames. While primarily for keeping insects out, they also help keep the foxes away!
Finally, one window screen in Pure White (RAL 9010) was fitted to the utility room. By having screens, insect-free fresh air can circulate through the home, improving the indoor air quality.
