The homeowners of this charming riverside home in Cheshire were feeling very uneasy about passersby peeking in. While views over the river were tranquil, there were many small boats sailing by the house each day, which kept their lives on display for all to see. They were desperate to find a privacy solution that would fit in with their home’s beautiful design.
Additionally, waterborne insects were becoming an unbearable nuisance, flooding the house and disrupting the homeowners’ peace and quiet. This property mixes the contemporary with the historic; the screen solution needed to be discrete and work with the fresh new design of the extension.
After a discussion with our screen experts, a 4.2m wide power screen was specified – finished in anthracite grey to match the existing door frames and fitted with a 90% block charcoal grey mesh.
