Phantom Screens are each made bespoke for your door or window’s specific requirements. This means that there is no ‘one size fits all’ – each fitting is as bespoke as the screen! They can be fitted internally or externally depending on which way your door or window opens and what you want your screen to achieve.

In some cases, we collaborate with your architect, door company, or other specialists to develop a tailored solution, ensuring our premium insect screens are seamlessly integrated into your home’s design.

Either – it depends on which way your window opens. Our screens are totally weather-proof so external fit screens are built to withstand the elements.

Phantom Screens are often used to stop cats and dogs getting outside. While many of our customers have found screens to be an effective solution for keeping pets inside, others have not. It ultimately depends on how tenacious your pet is. No screen is 100% claw resistant, so we cannot guarantee that they will be an effective barrier for all pets.

We do have a particular mesh type which is recommended for pet protection – this is exclusive to power screens.

The survey is completely free of charge, carries no obligation to buy, and doesn’t need to take longer than an hour. It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions, look at mesh options and find the best installation options available to you.

Once you’ve placed an order with Phantom Screens, our manufacturing team will begin the work on your screens.

The average time from order to installation is around three weeks for standard white screens, and around eight weeks for bespoke colours.

All our screens come with low-profile housing, which can be colour matched to your windows. They fully retract when not in use, and the mesh is designed to keep insects out without impacting your view of the outdoors.

Poorly fitted off-the-shelf screens can have a negative effect on the look of your windows, but we carefully design ours to blend in, so your house will still look beautiful. You’ll just be able to enjoy it even more without those pesky insects!

Our Serene window screens are manual screens, so you simply use the integrated handle.

To open, simply flick the handle towards you then either pull it upwards or let go of the handle so the screen glides up by itself.

Each screen has a soft close system, so they open and close super smoothly and gently.

We also do a range of automated screens which are operated by remote control, button or voice command.

Our fly screens for windows can be installed if you already have blinds, though we may need to slightly adjust the positioning of the blinds to allow room for the screens.

Curtains and screens can easily go together as screens are positioned just in front of the window frames.

Our high-quality screens are easy to look after.

To clean the cassette/housing simply wipe down using a non-abrasive, household detergent and a soft cloth or sponge.

To clean the mesh, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove debris and then wipe down with a soft, damp cloth.
