This property was designed to maximise the connections between the garden and the interior and uses oversize sliding doors to blur those boundaries.

Our client understood the need to prevent insects flooding into their home, and knew that our Power Screens would help them manage the inevitable solar gain from such a large glazed area.

After initially considering solid blinds, the property owners were recommended Phantom Screens in order to better suit their needs and maintain the views to the garden that solid blinds would have obliterated.

We were able to install Power Screens during the build process, meaning they could be fully recessed to disappear when not in use.

Choosing our standard insect mesh (7510) gave them 10% day-time privacy and solar block (to fight glare and sun bleaching), but most importantly provided 100% bug protection and helped them save on air conditioning costs by relying on natural ventilation.

This high-end build with a large ground floor kitchen living space aspect to the rear garden was completed in March 2019. Thanks to their bespoke automated screens, the homeowners can make the most of their garden and outdoor patio space year-round.
