Situated in a sought after urban neighbourhood away from the central London buzz, this stunning home was challenged by a lack of privacy. Surrounded by taller residential buildings, the property was overlooked and required a solution to prevent people from looking in.

Being close to both the River Thames and the London Wetland Centre, waterborne insects were also a concern. With this in mind, our customer researched privacy screens, and it wasn’t long before they got in touch with our team of experts.

Following a free home survey it was decided that a Power Screen would be installed to the sliding doors at the back of the property.

The screen was colour matched to the existing door frames and metal work – a distinctive dark green (RAL 6003 Matt) – this ensured that the screen blended in as if it were always part of the design of the property.

The chosen fabric for the privacy screen was 2360 mesh – Pearl Grey. This is a 90% block / 10% open weave, providing privacy from the outside, but garden views from the inside remain uninterrupted.

Not only does the screen provide the privacy the customer was looking for, but it also provides total insect protection and greater solar management. The solar screen battles excessive heat build to keep the room cooler and also combats harsh solar glare from direct sunlight or reflective surfaces such as nearby windows.
