Power Screen Face-Fit Installation

Power Screen face-fit installation

In a tucked away location close to England’s capital city of London sits a pretty cottage garden viewed from a stunning contemporary conservatory-style room.

The pitched glass roof generates light and warmth and a set of large glass bifold doors opens up an additional 3.5m of light and air into the main house.

Openings of this size can raise the risk of insect ingress, and additional glass in the roof space can serve to increase the temperature of the house.

Phantom’s automated power screens deal with both these challenges, allowing the home owners to maintain views to their garden without excessive heat build or bug invasions.

Our customer chose a 3.5m wide power screen which we colour matched to the existing RAL 7035 light grey framework and then fitted quickly and easily to the inside of the bifold frames. This type of installation requires no structural building work at all, and very little disruption; fitting can be completed in just a few hours.

The handcrafted screen was fitted with 20/30 black mesh that helps keep insects outside while providing an element of solar control. The screen is operated by remote control and can be deployed in seconds.
