Yes. All our screens are bespoke and handmade to order so we conduct surveys in order to prepare an accurate quote for you. All quotes are therefore subject to survey. The best way to ensure this process is as seamless and quick as possible is for a Phantom expert to visit your property and take measurements. The survey is completely free of charge, carries no obligation to buy, and doesn’t need to take longer than an hour. It is also your opportunity to ask questions, look at mesh options and find the best installation options available to you.

Although it is possible to select alternative mesh types, most customers choose our standard 18/14 stiffened insect mesh in charcoal – this provides optimum protection from insect ingress, protects you against 55% of the sun’s UV rays, and doesn’t interrupt your view. Speak to your Phantom adviser about mesh options during a home visit.

Call us to get a more accurate answer to this question. It largely depends on the time of year, the type of property and the type of screens you’re ordering. A simple 1.22m screen ordered and installed in January can sometimes be completed in a week, but more complex screens in our peak summer season can take a little longer.

  • All Phantom fly screens for doors come with a Phantom Limited Two Year Warranty to make sure that you are completely satisfied with our products.
  • The warranty covers the screens (fitted by Phantom-trained local design and fitting experts, for the original owner). It cannot be transferred to new homeowners and the screens will not be covered if they are moved to a new address.
  • The warranty covers the paint finish and mechanical parts of the screen but not the mesh itself. The mesh of your Phantom Screen is a serviceable part and will eventually need to be replaced. This can be organised with your local design and fitting expert.
  • Call out, labour and fitting of warrantied parts is not covered by this warranty.

Legacy Screens are easy to look after. To clean the mesh, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove debris and then wipe down with a soft, damp cloth.
