Step 1: Unpack, inspect & install brush
1 of 5Ensure you have all hole covers and screws before starting.
Install any necessary build-out before fitting the screen. Fit any extra brush strips that have been requested.
- Remove the Legacy door screen from the box and confirm you have the screw pack and latches.
- Inspect the unit for damage. Pull the slide-bar out to expose the mesh and check for nicks, tears or defects.
- Retract the slide-bar and confirm the mesh runs square and evenly top and bottom.
- Remove the end cap on the slide-bar using a #1 Robertson head bit — back the screw off just enough to separate the cap, no need to remove it fully.
- Slide the brush pile into the relevant T-slot, then refix the end cap.
