What happens on an install?

Arrival

Our friendly installers will arrive at the date and time chosen by you.

Preparation

They’ll introduce themselves, cover their shoes and check the spaces they’ll be working in before unloading the van – taking particular care around pets and children.

Planning

You’ll be given an estimated completion time and explain how your screens will fit with your current doors or windows.

Installation

Your screens, blinds, and/or pergolas will be installed with minimal disruption (for smaller orders of screens, you can expect completion within just a few hours).

Final checks

We’ll complete our final checks, clean and tidy the work areas, and show you exactly how to use and maintain your screens.

Manual screens are simply opened and closed by hand. They are most popular in bedroom windows, back doors, and front doors.

Automated screens (or ‘power screens’ as we call them!) are motorised and operated by remote, wall switch, or smart device. Power screens are available in a variety of mesh options for different usage i.e. standard insect protection and ventilation, solar shading and glare reduction, and increased privacy. These are usually installed to large doors and windows, as they are available up to 12m wide – making them are ideal for bifold doors and sliding doors leading out to a deck or balcony.

Power screens: up to 12m wide x 4.8m high.

Manual door screens (standard/Legacy): 1.22m wide x 3m* high as a single door screen or 2.44m wide x 3m* high as a double door screen (one door screen on each side meeting in the middle).

*For doors over 2130mm high, max individual screen width is 914mm.

Manual door screens (pleated/Distinction): 2m wide x 2.6m high as a single door screen or 9m wide x 2.6m high as a double door screen (one door screen on each side meeting in the middle).

Manual window screens: up to 2m wide x 2m high.

Power blinds: up to 4.5m wide x 5m drop.
